Coach From Malaysia To Singapore

Travelling by coach service is the preferred mode of transportation from Malaysia to Singapore for leisure travellers and the budget-conscious. With over a hundred bus companies that offer express bus services in Malaysia, you will find that coach buses may even be more practical than budget airlines, wherein you have to purchase cheap tickets on a first come, first served basis. Air travel costs anywhere from S$100 for a one-way flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore whereas a one-way bus ticket is available from as low as S$25, with more comfortable and luxurious buses including on-board meals and drinks.
Premier Bus gives you several types of coach buses to choose from. The VIP luxury coach bus is a 25-seater coach that has enough space for you to recline your seat to about 70 degrees. There are 3 to 4 shared TVs overhead or even dedicated screens for each seat. The classy sleeper bus is comparable to the business class offered by airlines. With about 15 seats, you can fully recline your backrest because there is more space between passengers. There is more legroom and elbow space so you can sleep through hours of travel back to Singapore. Boredom is never an issue with individual TV screens.
Standard coaches may not cost a fortune, but you still have to do some research in comparing the prices and offers of different bus companies. Fortunately, Premier Bus is here to take the guesswork away from you and just let you enjoy the trip from Malaysia to Singapore in style.

At Premier Bus, we guarantee comfort, safety, and affordability. Our express coaches give you all the basic amenities plus more. By keeping seats to not more than 40 passengers, you can be sure that you have a good view of the countryside while you relax in your reclining chair, play console games and watch TV.

You can take the express bus or luxury coach from Johor Bahru to Queen Street, Larkin, or Kranji MRT, where you can conveniently hail a cab or board the MRT to your destination. Some of Premier Bus’ coaches have selected drop-off points so you do not have to take another ride. The travel time is about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic situation.

Penang to Singapore
Coach transfer from Penang to Singapore has become increasingly popular for economy and convenience. Although air travel is faster, land transport is two to three times less expensive for the regular traveler. A coach from Penang to Singapore costs only around S$45.
A common concern is the proximity of Penang, which is located in Northern Peninsula Malaysia. It may take about 10 to 12 hours to get to Singapore, so it is advisable to travel at night; fall asleep on the comfortable seats and you may find yourself in Singapore when you awake. If you are in a bit of a hurry, you should also clarify if the bus is going via the Johor Causeway or the Second Link, the latter being usually less crowded.

Whether you travel at night or during daylight, you can be assured that Premier Bus is available to give you a seamless ride. Our professional drivers pick up passengers at multiple locations, mainly at Komtar Bus Station and Sungai Nibong Terminal. Please note that there may be brief stopovers at Prangin Mall and Kuala Lumpur while we load and drop off other passengers. When you reach Singapore, you may have the option to alight at Golden Mile Complex, Woodland, or Little India.

Kuala Lumpur to Singapore
To ease traffic congestion, pick-up locations for buses have been delegated to two terminals. Pudu Raya is the main land transportation terminal in Kuala Lumpur, especially for buses bound for the north route. Southbound buses are designated at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan.

Either way, the travel time takes around 5 to 6 hours via coach. Air travel may take only an hour, but the time is almost the same when you factor in the need to check-in early, immigration processes, commuting by cab to and from the airport, and waiting for plane departure.

Other Malaysian Cities to Singapore
Premier Bus’ coaches provide dedicated coach transfer from other Malaysian cities directly to Singapore via the Johor Causeway or Second Link. You can catch buses at Mushroom Farm Bus Terminal, a new boarding station in Genting Highlands. The trip from Genting to Singapore usually takes 7 hours, considering traffic congestion. Melaka Sentral is another major transportation hub in Malaysia, with daily trips from Malacca to Singapore. Some passengers ask to be dropped off at Johor Bahru before the bus goes directly to Singapore via the Causeway.
